Our criteria work to eliminate variations in the way individual firms might otherwise report so that our rankings are generated from consistent criteria. If two or more firms report the same number of Minnesota attorneys, they share the same rank. At the end of the list, we include all firms that report the same Minnesota attorney count.
The number of attorneys in a particular firm will fluctuate as individual attorneys or groups of attorneys join or leave firms. Attorney comings and goings may affect a firm's ranking relative to other firms. For these reasons, rankings are best regarded as approximate.
